The TMR-E12 Thermistor Relay is designed to protect motors from thermal overloads, which can occur due to mechanical stress on the shaft or improper voltage conditions. The relay uses a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermistor sensor, which is placed in the part of the motor most prone to overheating, such as embedded in the motor winding. This setup ensures effective monitoring and protection against excessive heat. Additionally, the relay can be used in motors that include a built-in thermal switch. The device features integrated fault memory with a front reset button or the option to connect an external reset button (terminals B1 to B2). It is available in versions with 230 V AC or 24 V AC/DC power options and comes with either 1 or 2 changeover contacts (SPDT or DPDT).
